Recommended Sites

The following are all things that I personally recommend and/or have used myself. It is not meant to be an all inclusive list as that would be quite painstaking, but it is intended to be a dynamic list that will change over time, so check back often.

(Note: There is no way to purchase a spot in this list. It is strictly for my personal recommendations. Some of the links are affiliate links.)

Web Hosting and Domain Registration

Bluehost.com: This is the company I use to host Fiscal Musings as well as other blogs. The pricing is affordable and competitive, and the customer service/technical support is fantastic even if you’re brand new to web hosting.

GoDaddy.com: I registered my first domain with GoDaddy, and the process was not only painless but pretty cheap as well.

Entertainment

Restaurant.com: I’ve used this site many times myself and have recommended it to many of my friends. You buy gift certificates at discounted prices and get to try out many different restaurants. Why would you want to pay full price?

StubHub.com: You can find discounted tickets to almost any event as well as hard to find tickets to the most popular events. This is the site where most all of the tickets for our baseball tour were purchased.

Amazon.com:They carry pretty much everything at very attractive prices. And you can also get free shipping with many purchases.

Ebay.com: Find almost anything you could want, and get it at a great value.

Financial Websites

ING Direct: This is one of the easiest ways I’ve found to save money. Just link it to your checking account and transfer money back and forth. It’s that simple.
