An Informative Financial Resource in the UK
Posted on May 08, 2008 under Uncategorized |I’ve run across another informational website that talks all about Money and is based in the UK. The site’s goal is to help you save and make money by presenting you with great financial information so that you’re more informed about the financial decisions that you make. Even though you can’t ever know it all, it can’t ever hurt to try and inform yourself as much as possible about some of the things you need to make decisions about. And they cover many different topics so you can find information that you’re looking for about whatever concerns you at the time.
One of the sections of the website covers a lot of things about Credit Cards. You can find credit card comparison tables which detail such information as balance transfer rates and durations as well as the card’s typical interest rate. You can then get a quote. They also have an extensive list of credit card articles that you can browse through. For example, one of their articles is entitled Cost of Credit Card Debt Soars and talks about the cost of them increasing since the introduction of default charge capping. Another one shouldn’t surprise anyone since it’s called 1 in 10 Overspending on Credit Cards.
Another large section of the site deals with all sorts of insurance. You can get quotes on and comparisons about car insurance, home insurance, pet insurance, travel insurance, and even van and motorbike insurance. There is also a section of the latest insurance news as well as some of their most popular insurance articles. One of these more popular articles is about how to get cheaper car insurance rates, something that we could all probably use.
Aside from these sections, there are sections about savings, loans, mortgages, broadband, and even utilities. You can also look into what they have about debt and investments. There’s an article called The Credit Crunch - Is the Worst Over as well as another article about investments in art and antiques. So with all this information you may want to keep tabs on it by subscribing to one of the many RSS feeds that they offer. Otherwise you can just visit the site and browse around to see what interests you. Everyone will probably find some sections more interesting to them than others, but that’s why it’s nice that there are so many articles about so many different topics.
