Fiscal Musings Has Moved To Wordpress
Posted on Jan 24, 2008 under Personal |As you can tell if you’re a long time reader of Fiscal Musings, the site’s design is quite different. I’ve been waiting for about a week for the domain name to finally transfer over to my new hosting company so that I could install the new platform. There are still a few things to be worked out which I’ll be taking care of as quickly as possible. One of these things is the feed which is taking a while for me to switch over. When I transfered my other blog over to Wordpress, I had a similar issue with the feed, and I just had to wait overnight until Feedburner would let me change the original feed.
Hopefully I’ll have everything up and running shortly so I can get back to what’s really important, providing great content. As always, your comments and suggestions are welcome especially about the new site layout and design. Thanks for your patience going forward.
Update: The feed should now be working properly. Hopefully no one will have to resubscribe, but their may be some duplicate content as Feedburner works everything out.

The new design looks good. I’m very happy with word press and I’m sure you’re switching over because you know about its ease of use and efficiency.
Looking forward to more posts. Especially if any are planned that might cover real estate

Great new look. I am looking at moving to a custom DNS as well. Afraid I will screw it up royally!

Walrus: Yeah, I wanted the flexibility that wordpress offers. I’m still having a few problems with the feed though. And I’ll definitely getting to some real estate topics. Until then, check out the real estate category for what I’ve already written.

I’m a new reader, but just wanted to say congrats on the change. When i moved my first blog to wordpress, everything got drastically better. The hiccups will be there of course, but it *is* worth it. Good call.
