There’s so much information out there today about becoming wealthy. There are books, articles, videos, Cd’s and tapes that will attempt to tell you how to become rich. Sorting through all these options is an enormous task, which we’ll talk about later. What all this information won’t tell you is the WHY of becoming wealthy. Many will give you reasons, but only you can find out for yourself why you want to be wealthy. So why do you want to be wealthy? I can tell you my reasons, but take them with a grain of salt. Most of your time should be spent figuring out why you personally want to be wealthy.
The ultimate goal of wealth for me correlates with what I call ‘time freedom’. Financial abundance is a means to other ends. I’m not pursuing money for the sake of money. Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy business and investing, but I’d like to be able to decide how much time to spend with my family, how much time I spend working or pursuing philanthropic interests. I also have a love for helping people. I find it’s easier to lift others when your pulling from an elevated position than pushing from below. As I make my way along this journey towards time freedom, I’d like to take as many people with me as I can. These are some of my reasons. Find yours.
In later posts I’ll explain this concept of ‘time freedom’ and how it relates to a more well known phrase, ‘financial freedom’, and don’t worry, we’ll get into the how. For now find your Why to Wealth…

I personally want to become wealthy so I can have time to create memories with my family. Going to children’s concerts, performances, plays, etc. I think that is the most rewarding thing. My husband, on the other hand, wants his dream car (not an extremely expense on, mind you). This can create problems.
